On October 23, 2025, a limestone mining company from Bulgaria signed a contract with YUSHUNXIN to build a 10 TPH limestone granules production project worth USD 210,000. The company owns abundant limestone resources and had traditionally supplied crushed stone and limestone powder to the construction industry. However, growing price competition and fluctuating market demand encouraged the customer to expand into higher-value agricultural products. After researching the market, the customer decided to produce granular agricultural lime for soil improvement and fertilizer applications. Their goals were straightforward. They wanted to increase the value of their limestone resources, reduce dust during transportation and field application, and build a continuous production line with lower operating costs. Because the limestone powder already had relatively low moisture content, we recommended a double roller dry granulation process. This solution matched the raw material well while reducing energy consumption and equipment investment.
Which Production Line Is Best for a 10 TPH Limestone Granules Project?
The customer’s first question was simple: How can we produce 10 tons of limestone granules per hour while keeping investment and operating costs under control? After evaluating the production capacity and raw material characteristics, we recommended a double roller press granulation line instead of a wet granulation system.
The rotary screening machine separates qualified granules automatically. Instead of wasting off-size material, the conveyor returns oversized and undersized particles directly to the granulator for another extrusion cycle. This closed-loop process increases raw material utilization, keeps production continuous, and maintains stable operating efficiency.
How Can You Produce Limestone Granules with Stable Particle Quality?
The customer also wanted to improve product quality. Fine limestone powder creates dust during storage, transportation, and field application. Therefore, the customer needed limestone granules with uniform particle size, high compressive strength, and stable quality.
How Can the Production Line Reduce Dust and Meet Environmental Requirements?
Besides production efficiency and product quality, the customer also wanted a cleaner production environment. Dust generated during conveying, screening, and packaging was the main concern because it could affect both employees and the surrounding environment.
