On May 22, 2025, Mr. Andrei Popescu, the founder of a fertilizer company in Cluj County, Romania, contacted YUSHUNXIN to discuss an organic fertilizer granulation project.

During the discussion, Mr. Popescu explained that his company was already producing powdered organic fertilizer at around 80–100 tons per day and supplying local agricultural distributors and farms. However, some customers preferred granular fertilizer because it was easier to store and transport.

Mr. Popescu wanted to add a granulation section to his existing production line but needed support in selecting the right capacity and equipment. After reviewing his existing production conditions and product requirements, YUSHUNXIN calculated that a 6–8 tons per hour organic fertilizer granulation line would be suitable for upgrading part of his powder fertilizer production into granular products.

How Did YUSHUNXIN Design A 6–8 T/H Organic Fertilizer Granulation Line For The Romanian Fertilizer Company?

To upgrade Mr. Popescu’s existing powdered organic fertilizer production, Instead of supplying only a single granulator, YUSHUNXIN designed a complete granulation system covering material feeding, granule production, and final packaging.

For this project, YUSHUNXIN recommended three key systems:

✓ SXZGZ-1870 rotary drum granulation system for producing organic fertilizer granules with continuous operation;

✓ Automatic batching system for accurately feeding different raw materials according to the production formula;

✓  Big bag packaging line for packing finished fertilizer granules for bulk transportation and agricultural distribution.

Why Did YUSHUNXIN Select The SXZGZ-1870 Rotary Drum Granulator For The Romanian Organic Fertilizer Project?

For Mr. Popescu’s project, YUSHUNXIN recommended the SXZGZ-1870 rotary drum granulator. This model provides a capacity of 5–8 t/h, which matches the calculated production requirement of the Romanian project.

Why Did YUSHUNXIN Add A Dynamic Automatic Batching System For The Romanian Organic Fertilizer Project?

Since Mr. Popescu‘s raw materials included fermented manure, compost powder, and other fertilizer additives, manual weighing and feeding could make the production process slower and more difficult to control.

To solve this problem, YUSHUNXIN integrated a Dynamic Automatic Batching System into Mr. Popescu’s granulation line.

The system uses an independent PLC control system to control each feeding unit. According to the preset formula, each silo releases materials through variable-frequency belt conveyors, and different materials are continuously transferred to the mixer before entering the SXZGZ-1870 rotary drum granulator.

Why Did The Romanian Fertilizer Company Choose A Big Bag Packaging Line For Organic Fertilizer Distribution?

After adding the granulation process, Mr. Popescu also needed a packaging solution suitable for the finished organic fertilizer granules. Based on the product characteristics and packaging requirements, YUSHUNXIN configured a big bag packaging line for the Romanian project.

The system was designed for granular and powder materials with a filling range of 500–1500 kg per bag.

The machine adopts a belt feeding system with automatic frequency conversion speed control, allowing the feeding speed to be adjusted according to different material conditions.

The weighing system controls the filling process with an accuracy of approximately 2–5‰, helping maintain consistent bag weight during production.

For Mr. Popescu’s project, the big bag packaging line completed the final packaging stage of the organic fertilizer production process, allowing the company to prepare finished granules in larger packages  for fertilizer distributors and large agricultural users.

How Was The Romanian Organic Fertilizer Production Line Manufactured And Delivered?

During the early discussion, Mr. Popescu expected the project investment to be around $300,000. After further technical communication, YUSHUNXIN adjusted the proposal according to the complete production requirements, including the SXZGZ-1870 rotary drum granulator, automatic batching system, big bag packaging line, and related auxiliary equipment.

After reviewing the updated quotation and confirming the complete equipment scope, Mr. Popescu accepted the proposal and proceeded with the order. The final contract value was approximately USD 360,000.

On August 18, 2025, Mr. Popescu completed the 40% advance payment according to the contract agreement. After receiving the deposit, YUSHUNXIN started manufacturing the main equipment for the organic fertilizer granulation project.

During the production period, YUSHUNXIN completed equipment manufacturing, electrical preparation, and factory inspection according to the confirmed technical documents. The production process took approximately 20 working days.

On September 15, 2025, after receiving the production progress information and inspection documents, Mr. Popescu completed the remaining 60% balance payment before shipment.

After final inspection, the complete organic fertilizer production line was packed and shipped from Qingdao Port, China to Constanta Port, Romania on September 22, 2025.

The shipping details included:

  • Shipping term: FOB Qingdao Port;
  • Containers: 4 × 40HQ containers;
  • Packaging method: Waterproof film protection and reinforced fixing inside containers;
  • Sea transportation time: approximately 35–45 days.

Considering the long-distance transportation from China to Romania, YUSHUNXIN arranged suitable packaging protection to reduce the risk of moisture and equipment damage during shipment.

Installation And After-Sales Support For The Romania Organic Fertilizer Project

The equipment arrived at Constanta Port, Romania on November 5, 2025. After completing customs clearance and inland transportation, the machines were delivered to Mr. Popescu’s factory in Cluj County.

After receiving the equipment, Mr. Popescu’s team started the installation preparation according to the equipment layout, electrical drawings, and technical documents provided by YUSHUNXIN.

Since Mr. Popescu’s company already had experience in fertilizer production and was familiar with basic fertilizer processing operations, YUSHUNXIN provided remote installation and commissioning support instead of sending engineers to the customer’s factory.

On November 10, 2025, YUSHUNXIN engineers started online communication with Mr. Popescu’s technical team to guide the installation process, equipment connection, and commissioning preparation.

The after-sales support included:

During the commissioning stage, YUSHUNXIN engineers helped Mr. Popescu’s team adjust feeding speed, material proportion settings, and equipment operating parameters according to the actual production conditions.

With continuous technical support from YUSHUNXIN, Mr. Popescu’s company successfully integrated the new granulation equipment with its existing fertilizer production process and prepared the organic fertilizer granules for commercial production.

After receiving the equipment and completing the commissioning process, Mr. Popescu shared his feedback about the cooperation with YUSHUNXIN.

Mr. Popescu mentioned that the overall project communication was smooth, especially during equipment selection, production line layout confirmation, and technical discussions. He appreciated the equipment quality and the detailed support provided by YUSHUNXIN throughout the project.

He also noted that the customized layout design helped his team understand how the new granulation section could be integrated with the existing fertilizer production process. During the installation and commissioning stage, YUSHUNXIN’s technical guidance helped his operators adjust the equipment settings and prepare the line for production.

Through this project, Mr. Popescu’s company successfully upgraded part of its existing powder fertilizer production into a granulated fertilizer production process.
